Learning goals

  • We are learning to recognise and read the time represented on an analog clock to the hour, half-hour and quarter-hour.
  • We are learning to tell time to the hour and half-hour.
  • We are learning to tell time to the quarter-hour, using the language of 'past' and 'to'.
  • We are learning to estimate and compare the duration of events using days, hours, minutes and seconds.
  • We are learning to recognise and read the time represented on analog and digital clocks to the nearest minute.
  • We are learning to tell time to the minute and investigate the relationship between units of time.
