Learning goals
- We are learning to understand how language features such as personal and possessive pronouns can be used to leave out words in a text that can be inferred, e.g. Sam went to school. She had a lovely day. (‘at school’ is inferred).
- We are learning to understand how language features such as synonyms, antonyms and word associations make texts cohesive.
