Subtraction Summer Fun - Game

This fun and engaging Maths resource encourages students to consolidate and practice their subtraction skills while playing a game. The game focuses on subtraction of numbers up to 20. The game includes two gameboards, the first level focuses on the numbers 0 to 10 and the second level, 0 to 20.

A reproducible recording sheet has been included, which can also be used as a formative assessment tool. Perfect for group work and maths rotations.

  • We are learning to use counting or subitising strategies for addition and subtraction in everyday role-play situations.
  • We are learning to use concrete materials or subitising to represent everyday situations that involve equal sharing and grouping.
