Story Editing Checklist

This ‘Story Editing Checklist’ is a great tool for practising self-editing skills. Encourage students to use this checklist at the completion of narrative writing. Students can check they have included all the important features of a narrative, as well as proof reading grammar and punctuation within their work. You may wish to use this checklist as a partner activity, whereby students will mark the work of a peer.
