STEM Challenge Activity Cards
The STEM Challenge Activity Cards have been developed to challenge thinking. They present a problem for students to examine and use their creativity to find and present a workable solution. Activities can be undertaken individually or in groups.
Use our STEM Project Steps resource to provide the process students should follow in completing these tasks.
Differentiation
Extensions
Students can write their STEM challenges to present to class mates. Provide an example of a device used every day e.g. iPhone. Ask students to investigate the solution that was provided by this device. What problem previously existed? Why was this solution so successful?
