Split Strategy - Subtraction Boardgame
Split Strategy – Subtraction Boardgame is a strategic and interactive way for students to practise subtraction using mental computation. Players roll a die, land on subtraction problems (e.g. 64 – 32), and must solve them using the split strategy (breaking numbers into place value parts). Correct answers let students remain on their space, while incorrect answers send them back one space. The game also includes action tiles such as “Roll again,” “Go back 1 space,” “Swap places,” and more to increase engagement and replayability.
