Skip Counting By 10's
This resource is part of the Year 1 Number Patterns Skip Counting Unit. This unit teaches and reinforces student understanding of skip counting, and using this strategy to identify missing numbers in a number pattern. Number patterns include 2s, 3s, 5s, and 10s.
Learning goals
- We are learning to continue simple patterns using numbers and objects.
- We are learning to recognise, continue and create pattern sequences, with numbers, symbols, shapes and objects, formed by skip counting, initially by twos, fives and tens.
