Showcase Your Species
This worksheet set invites students to reflect on how animals are represented in the book A is for Australian Animals and to apply their understanding by designing their own page. Students select an Australian animal, think about how to visually and verbally represent it, and then create a new book page. This task encourages creativity, authorial decision-making, and comprehension of visual storytelling.
