Saying Verbs- โ€˜saidโ€™ is Dead!

This worksheet focuses on saying verbs and asks students select more precise verbs than ‘said’ to show how a character might say something or express themselves. Students are provided with a list of ‘vivid verbs’ that can be used to replace ‘said’ and improve their writing. This worksheet is part of the Vivid Verbs- Year 3 unit of work.
