English Unit: Vivid Verbs
This comprehensive and detailed unit plan is designed to support students when learning about the different types of verbs. The unit contains a presentation that walks students through doing, saying, thinking and relating verbs, a student reference card, accompanying worksheets and games. At the completion of the unit, there is an assessment for teachers to utilise to assess student learning.
Learning goals
- We are learning that verbs are doing, thinking, saying and relating words and that time is represented through verb tense, e.g. she arrived, she is arriving.
