Roll, Write, Expand & Draw - 4-Digit Number Worksheet

This worksheet challenges students to roll 4 dice to create a 4-digit number, then represent it in five distinct forms. A worked example is included to model the task structure, followed by 9 additional spaces for students to practise.

For each number, students must:

  • Write it in numerals
  • Spell it out in words
  • Break it into place value parts
  • Show the expanded form
  • Draw a visual representation (e.g. MAB blocks or base ten diagrams)

Perfect for consolidating place value understanding and expanding number flexibility in a structured and engaging way.
