Phoneme Bingo
There are 6 game boards in this game of bingo to allow beginning readers to practise letter sounds. It was requested by our member, Brooke, to accommodate Lower Primary students.
Learning goals
- We are learning to listen for rhyme, letter patterns, syllables and sounds in words.
- We are learning to recognise the upper and lower case letters and know the most common sounds represented by letters.
- We are learning to listen for rhyme, letter patterns, syllables and sounds (phonemes) in spoken words (phonological awareness).
- We are learning to recognise the upper and lower case letters (graphs). and know the most common sounds represented by letters.
