My State/Territory - Worksheet B
This simple worksheet has been designed to assist students with demonstrating their knowledge of the location of the state/territory they live in, in relation to Australia as a whole. They will also identify whether it is a state or territory, as well as the name of the capital city. There is also space for students to draw their hometown, as well as 2 other places from within their home state/territory.
Learning goals
- We are learning to understand the way the world is represented in geographic divisions and the location of Australia in relation to these divisions.
- We are learning to understand that places are parts of Earthβs surface that have been named by people, and how places can be described as personal, local, regional and national.
- We are learning to understand the ways in which Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples maintain special connections to particular Country/Place.
