Maths Unit: Part Part Whole and Partitioning
This engaging Part Part Whole and Partitioning Unit guides students through part part whole and partitioning concepts. This unit uses many visuals to illustrate the part part whole relationship to students, and how related number facts can be used to solve addition and subtraction problems. It also includes numerous hands on experiences to consolidate their knowledge of partitioning and the part part whole strategy. Students learn how to partition collections, and record the facts with a part part whole diagram/bar.
