Life After Federation - Assessment
This Life After Federation – Assessment was created to support Lesson 9 & 10 of the Year 6 History Unit - Life After Federation. It was created to assess student understanding an knowledge. The resource includes a task overview, exemplar, annotated exemplar, scaffolded planning pages and a marking rubric.
Students will write a diary entry from the perspective of a migrant, who is living in Australia after Federation. Students’ writing will reflect empathy, and an understanding of what life was historically like for migrants in Australia, at that time.
