Inference Exit Tickets
These exit tickets are a great formative assessment tool to use at the end of teaching the Inferencing comprehension strategy. They are a quick and easy tool to get a snapshot of what students have understood in the content that has been taught.
Read a story or show one of the inference photo prompts. Ask students to complete the inference exit ticket before leaving the class, showing their inference, which clues they used and what they already know.
