  • We are learning to understand that places are parts of Earth’s surface that have been named by people, and how places can be described as personal, local, regional and national.
  • We are learning to understand connections of people in Australia to people in other places in Australia and across the world.
  • We are learning to understand why people choose to visit places, e.g. accessibility, transport, technology and distance, and the reason for visiting, e.g. shopping, recreation, sport, family.
