Fancy Formalities
This worksheet contains sentences and phrases where students are required to identify whether formal or informal language has been used. Once decided, students need to justify the answer they have chosen by explaining the features they can identify. This worksheet could be used as an explicit teaching activity, independent activity, during literacy rotations or a guided language group.
