Editing with Emma, Ella, Eve and Eric
Students will use their knowledge of ‘5 Star Writing’ to read over and edit Emma’s writing. On each re-reading they should focus on one of the 5 skills they have learnt about in the editing unit- Excellent Editing- Year 2.
These include:
- Capital Letters- Have I used capital letters where I need them?
- Punctuation- Do all sentences end with punctuation?
- Spelling- Does each work look right?
- Vocabulary- Does it make sense? Could I use a better word?
- Handwriting- Is my handwriting neat? Have I used finger spaces?
