Continents Posters
This colourful and fun series of Continents Posters feature 7 different posters including:
- World Map
- Australia (Oceania)
- Asia
- North America & South America
- Europe
- Africa
- Antarctica
They were designed to support the Geography Curriculum and encourage class discussions about the different continents of the world, some famous landmarks and features of each continent.
Learning goals
- We are learning to understand the way the world is represented in geographic divisions and the location of Australia in relation to these divisions.
- We are learning to understand the main characteristics of the continents of Africa and South America and the location of their major countries in relation to Australia.
- We are learning to understand the importance of environments, including natural vegetation and water sources to animals and people.
