Concepts About Print - Presentation
This presentation is an excellent way to introduce concepts about print to your class. The progressive presentation explains some of the ways that we can develop awareness of print such as:
- Learning about print, direction and knowing that words contain meaning.
- Navigating texts, identifying the features of digital and physical texts and how to handle them.
- Using technology to assist with print awareness through typing, scrolling and selecting.
Students also have the opportunity to share their knowledge by identifying the different print concepts they know during class discussions.
