This resource has been created to support the Year 3 Unit of Work- Significant Events, Symbols and Emblems. Students are given question prompts to guide an investigation into a celebration around the world.
Questions include:

- What do people do to celebrate this event, and why do they do this?

- We are learning to understand the days and weeks celebrated or commemorated in Australia (including Australia Day, Anzac Day and National Sorry Day) and the importance of symbols and emblems, e.g. flags.
