Bee Hotel Assessment
This Bee Hotel Assessment worksheet encourages students to reflect on their completed bee hotel project. Students rate their design, draw their favourite part, and identify areas for improvement. The worksheet also prompts students to consider the placement of their bee hotel and includes a peer feedback section, allowing them to gain insights from their classmates. This self-assessment tool fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and peer collaboration while reinforcing design evaluation skills.
• End-of-Project Reflection: Guide students to assess their design choices and effectiveness.
• Classroom Discussion Starter: Use responses to facilitate discussions on improving designs for functionality and sustainability.
• Peer Review Activity: Encourage constructive feedback and idea-sharing between students.

Modifications
• Provide a simplified version with fewer questions for younger students.
• Allow students to verbally explain their answers instead of writing if needed.
Extensions
• Students can write a short report explaining their bee hotel’s success and potential improvements.
• Encourage students to compare their designs with others and suggest future modifications.
