Bare Assertions to Supported Opinions
This activity helps students practise transforming bare assertions into supported opinions. It covers three key techniques: using the impersonal "it," providing general support, and citing specific sources. With five examples for each, including suggested answers, students will develop critical thinking skills while learning to substantiate their opinions with evidence and credible sources.
