Antonym Fix
In this worksheet, students will read a passage and edit words, replacing them with antonyms, to ensure the text makes sense.
Can be used as an individual, or group activity. Would also work well for use in literacy rotations.

- We are learning to understand how language features such as personal and possessive pronouns can be used to leave out words in a text that can be inferred, e.g. Sam went to school. She had a lovely day. (‘at school’ is inferred).
- We are learning to understand how language features such as synonyms, antonyms and word associations make texts cohesive.
