Adding and Subtracting Fractions Presentation
In this presentation, students are given a refresher on the steps involved in adding and solving fractions. However, this knowledge is extended by looking at lowest common denominators, as well as reducing or simplifying fractions.
This presentation is part of a larger unit designed to develop proficiency in solving problems related to addition and subtraction of fractions by applying their understanding of equivalent fractions.
