The Year 3 NAPLAN Language Conventions Preparation was created to assist teachers in preparing students for the assessment. It is not designed to "teach to" the test, but rather expose students to the various types of questions and vocabulary they may encounter, and to develop the deep understanding needed to use Literacy effectively.

* 9 pages of Teacher Notes, including simple assessment tips to use throughout the year, relevant ACARA links and pre-assessment information for students.
* 12 pages of practise NAPLAN Language Convention Questions covering the following topics: articles, comparatives, contractions, direct speech, homophones, plurals, pronouns, punctuation, sentence structure, spelling, tense and unnecessary words.
