World Heritage Sites of Australia
This interactive geography activity allows students to explore Australia’s World Heritage Sites through a hands-on mapping task. Students cut out the site tiles and place them on a blank map of Australia in their correct geographic locations. After completing the puzzle, they colour in the states and territories and identify a site they would most like to visit by marking it with a star.
Perfect for units on Australian geography, environmental heritage, and map skills, this activity encourages students to visually engage with Australia’s most significant natural and cultural landmarks.
