The Rainbow Serpent - Simple and Complex Sentence Sorting
This Simple and Complex Sentence Sorting activity allows students to practise sentence structure using content drawn from the Dreamtime story The Rainbow Serpent. Featuring 50 sentences, students identify and sort each one as either a simple sentence (one main idea) or a complex sentence (main clause + dependent clause), all while building comprehension around a key Aboriginal story.
Ideal for grammar, reading groups, or integrating literacy with cultural understanding.
