Text Type Match - Board Game
Text Type Match is a curriculum-aligned board game designed to help Year 3 students recognise key features of different text types. Players move around the board and land on text features like “dialogue” or “heading.” They then match that feature to the correct text type in the centre grid, such as “narrative” or “information report.” The game supports understanding of cohesion and structure across a range of genres, including persuasive, narrative, procedural, and informational texts.
