Self Regulation Tool Kit
This tool kit assists children to develop emotion recognition skills, emotional awareness and self-regulation. This can be used as a whole class morning check-in, individual check-in, check in after recess and/or lunch, check in at the end of the school day etc. The colours are familiar to students, as they are similar to a traffic light - red means stop, yellow means slow down, green means just right.
Display the posters on the wall for student reference. Attach the meter and How Do You Feel? Chart to student’s desk.
