Roll and Respond- Questioning
This engaging activity is perfect for literacy rotations, fast finishers, or as an extension task. Students use a dice to roll a question stem and then create a question based on the stem and question type: Right There, Think and Search, Author and Me, or On My Own. They then ask their group members, promoting verbalisation of their thinking and encouraging deeper analysis of the texts they read. This resource is ideal for stimulating thoughtful discussions and enhancing comprehension skills. Suitable for use as a warm-up, a fast finisher activity, or an extension exercise.
