Questioning Exit Tickets

These exit tickets are a great formative assessment tool to use at the end of teaching the Questioning comprehension strategy. They are a quick and easy tool to get a snapshot of what students have understood in the content that has been taught.

Read a picture story book to the class and ask students to write the title and a question they have about the book after it has been read. You could then discuss some of these questions about the text the following day to help build student understanding.
