Partner and Group Discussion Guidelines
This handy set of prompt cards are an ideal resource for partner and group work. A simple and effective way to guide students through group work and keep their conversations on track. The prompt cards could be minimised, printed and laminated for multiple uses.
Minimise, print and laminate for individual student use, enlarge to A3 and display around classroom for student reference and daily use.
Learning goals
- We are learning to use interaction skills, e.g. paraphrasing, questioning and interpreting non-verbal cues to communicate and interact clearly and appropriately in a range of situations, discussions and presentations.
- We are learning to use appropriate interaction skills, e.g. paraphrasing and to appropriately check our understanding in formal and informal situations, e.g. making constructive comments, asking questions and justifying a point of view.
