Migrant Messages - Toolkit
The Migrant Messages toolkit equips students in Years 3-6 to analyse how the short film Migrants uses visual symbolism to convey emotion, mood and meaning. It includes differentiated task sheets, Meaning Maker worksheets, peer feedback templates (TAG It and Tweak It) and self-checklists. These scaffolded resources help students deepen their understanding of visual storytelling and explain how filmmakers communicate powerful messages without words.
