Maths Unit: Compass Directions
This unit was created to introduce students to compass directions and their use in maps, as part of the Year 4 curriculum for position.
Learning goals
- We are learning to use simple scales, legends and directions to interpret information contained in basic maps.
- We are learning to use simple scales, legends and directions to interpret grid reference systems to locate and describe positions and pathways.
