Making Connections - Presentation
This Asian Geography presentation has been created to support Lesson 6 of the Australia’s Connections unit. It allows the teacher to walk students through visual examples and explanations.
It is part of a larger unit that allows students to learn about Australia’s connections with the world, and compare and contrast cultures while researching the countries of Asia.
Learning goals
- We are learning to understand the geographical diversity of the Asia region and the location of its major countries in relation to Australia.
- We are learning to understand differences in the economic, demographic and social characteristics of countries across the world.
- We are learning to understand the world’s cultural diversity, including that of its Indigenous peoples.
- We are learning to understand Australia’s connections with other countries and how these change people and places.
- We are learning to understand Australia’s interconnections with other countries and how these change people and places.
