Health Unit: Different Families

Health Unit: Different Families

Different Families is a short Health and Physical Education unit for Foundation.

Students will learn about different family structures, investigate their own and understand that other families in their community may look different.

The presentations and guiding questions help to establish a supportive and productive class discussion on identity and diversity.

The accompanying activities allow for multiple opportunities to check student understanding.

This unit can be completed in 1 or 2 sessions but also allows for extended discussions depending on your needs.
