Learning goals

  • We are learning to describe how choices and actions can be influenced by stereotypes.
  • We are learning to describe how respect, empathy and valuing diversity can positively influence relationships.
  • We are learning to make connections between our emotions, feelings and how we respond to them as actions or reactions.
  • We are learning to investigate how emotional responses vary in depth and strength by recognising and comparing different emotional reactions to various situations.

Differentiation

Modifications

The cards function at different levels of removal from the individual. For students who might struggle, choose the scenario cards where they are
describing their own feelings, and limit the number and complexity of the feeling responses.

Extensions

The game can be adjusted to require students to draw more of the emotions rather than to use the predawn versions.
