Converting Decimals to Fractions 2
This worksheet explains to students how to convert decimals to fractions and reduce their answer to lowest terms. It is a part of a larger unit that is written to help students make connections between fractions, percentages, and decimals and be able to move between all three at ease.
Learning goals
- We are learning to make connections between equivalent fractions, decimals and percentages.
- We are learning to recognise that 100% represents a whole and use percentages to describe, represent and compare relative percentages visually, e.g. shading a hundreds grid and connect percentages to their decimal and fraction equivalents.
- We are learning to compare, order and represent common fractions including halves, thirds and quarters on the same number line and justify their order.
