Comparing Angles
In this worksheet, students compare angles using greater or less than. It is a part of a larger unit that introduces students to how we measure and draw angles, and gets them to compare, estimate and draw some of their own.

Learning goals
- We are learning to estimate and compare angles using angle names including acute, obtuse, straight angle, reflex and revolution and recognise their relationship to a right angle.
- We are learning to compare and classify angles as equal to, greater than or less than a right angle.
- We are learning to construct angles using a protractor and to estimate, measure and compare angles using degrees and name the angles appropriately, e.g. less than 90o equals an acute angle.
- We are learning to construct angles using a protractor and to estimate, measure and compare angles using degrees.
