Catastrophe Scale
The catastrophe scale can be used to help students with anxiety put things into perspective. Mark down things on the catastrophe scale that would be a 10 (extremely bad) through to a 0 (things that are good). Use the scale as a reference point for when events happen. Ask students to locate where that event would be placed on the catastrophe scale. A great tool for students with anxiety.
