Blast Off – 1-10
This resource is a simple independent activity that combines counting with material manipulation and covers both counting forwards and backwards to and from 10.
Students use unifix or other blocks to build towers to match each number on the rocket, verbalising their counting as they build. They can then point to each tower and count up and then back.
Laminate each activity board and use as a maths task centre or early finisher task with unifix or other stackable blocks.
