Apostrophe of Possession - Presentation
This presentation is designed to introduce students to the rules around apostrophe of possession. It is part of a larger unit what should help students understand how possessives are signalled through apostrophes and how they’re use with common and proper nouns.
Learning goals
- We are learning how possessives are signalled through apostrophes and how to use apostrophes with common, proper and plural nouns, e.g. my parents’ car.
- We are learning to use commas to indicate prepositional phrases, how possessives are signalled through apostrophes and how to use apostrophes with common, proper, plural nouns and multiple possession.
