Alphabet Trail - Game
This game was requested by one of our members, Brooke, to consolidate beginning sounds for her lower primary students. It offers three levels of play for students where they learn to match a sound on the game board to the beginning sound of a picture. It also provides the flexibility for each student to play a different level within the same game if necessary.
Learning goals
- We are learning to recognise the upper and lower case letters and know the most common sounds represented by letters.
- We are learning to use letters and sounds, including onset and rime, to spell words.
- We are learning to recognise the upper and lower case letters (graphs). and know the most common sounds represented by letters.
